Hi peeps...
I hope you guys can help me.. i've just downloaded n installed a free game(A viking saga" onto my x50v. It says it requires a eBV runtime file to run the game. i couldnt find it in microsoft. Only the Visual basics C++ and what not... I hope someone could giv me advice on this... Thanks | |||

MS says it's unsupported on WM2003SE aka Pocket PC 2003 SE. But it will still run on it. Unsupported just means that if something they had done in creating WM2003SE broke some part of the eVB runtime, they ain't gonna bother fixing it and stuff like that. What it will not run on at all is Windows Mobile 2005 and beyond. However, if you have WM5, you shouldn't need this runtime because the .NET compact framework for VB .NET should already be built in, IIRC. And one would hope that it at least minimally support eVB. As for WM2003SE and the current eVB runtime, it works just fine. In fact, I have played "A Viking Saga" on my X30h with no problems. | |||||
