Hey there. I thought i would let people know that using Scumm v0.7.1 on my x50v (A03, GAPI 1.11), I am able to play Full Throttle perfectly without lag at 208 Mhz.

All you do is copy the entire CD contents (of the classic Lucas Arts Game) to a folder and run the emulator. It can even do a scan for game files!

The interface is very simple and usable. It supports landscape mode no problem as well! Saving and loading games happens very quickly.

P.S. You better have a large amount of storage space.(I needed 533MB for Full Throttle) I am playing this game off a 6GB Hitachi Microdrive.

Well I tried PocketScumm when I got my X50v and it didn't work.

With this thread, I wanted to retry. It now work ONLY IF I DISABLE GAPI tweak.

Now it work and is quite fast. Just tried Curse of Monkey Island (Monky 3) and for the first time , It work perfectly on the PDA and in VGA ! It look incredibly great and finally, at full speed. The fonts are also easy to read (because of VGA screen)

Now this game will be on my SD card for a while !

Just want to add my experiment of yesterday.

If I use GAPI Tweek, I need to select the GDI thing or the screen don't work with Scumm. If I do this, the game work in QVGA !

If I disable the GAPI Tweek, the game run in Full VGA and Full speed.

Curse of Money Island Work in VGA
Day of the Tantacle work in QVGA

I have the Cd of Full Throttle. I will try it after Monkey 3.

You can often find those game for 4$ or less in store :D

not all of us are fans of monkey island either...or fandango...or...well, you get the picture.

anyway, what someone likes is not the question here...this is a thread about Lucas games that work with scummmm so my question stands...what about Dark Forces?
