I just played Siberian Strike X for the PocketPC 2002, let me say this, WOW.

First of all, its a top down (your aspect is looking down on) shooter game, with world war 2 style bomber. The gameplay uses D-pad, and you avoid incomming fire while shooting down airplanes, bombers and bosses which come down from top of screen, has AMAZING graphics and very very good gameplay. On my axim pxa255, I was able to set it to max graphics (3 levels in options panel) and found no lag issues.

Amazing game, I highly recommend it.

u wont find to many games that are free and good. im sure there is a few here and there but the good games are the ones u buy.

Awesome. It looks like a true arcade-style shooter.

I think turjah2 http://www.turjah.com/ and xranger http://www.jimmysoftware.com/Software/X-Ranger/ are not bad.

Yeah, Turjah is great, takes me right back to the 80's arcade, really great on PPC.
The Mark is also a nice game, being a sniper it's your job to protect the innocent.... duhhhh
Still have to try Age of Empires, i'm now trying SimCity.

I don't really care for Turjah any more (though I gave it a favorable review waaaay back when on Pocketgamer.org). There's no challenge... there are just about no aimed shots in the entire game... when I play a shooter, I like to have enemies fire in my general direction at least once in a while!

With that said, I love Siberian Strike X. It's a very good ripoff of Capcom's 19XX, though I could have done with a FEW more bullets on screen at any one time (then again, I LOVE this genre, so my idea of what's easy definitely isn't everyone's).

I really don't know, it's an Ipaq game from Flux2game but i can't find their website anywhere... it's should be www.flux2.game.com or without the middle dot but it's nowhere to be found.
I've searched for the site because i want to check for an update but i can't find it anymore... Works fine on my Ax anyway.

I'm now trying Racing Day's, (see screendump) and later today i'm gonna install Metalion which is Turjah in a more 3D perspective. I'm gonna test a bunch of games the coming days so i'll post some more info about those later....

Just go to http://games.handango.com and click the Pocket PC button. You can scroll through hundreds of games. There are lots of cool shooters. Odyssey by AIM Productions, G-Pod, G-Prime, Turajh II, Blaster, the Capcom Arcade pack, ect. You will find them all there.
