Question Is it Possible to Run/Play X-wing Vs Tie Fighter on Pocket PC?

if not, what are some other star wars alts?
(i have pretty much all the old classics)
and what emulator is best used for Windows Applications?

You could use dosbox to run some of the games which used to run on msdos

Think they'd play though? I haven't had any luck getting dosbox to run at even somewhat of a normal speed.

Is there any way to get all the files needed off the CD so that you can play it in DOS only? what about a Virtual drive for PDA?

I count vouch for speed (although the latest version(s) of DosBox are very good). However, these games require a joystick (there's no mouse option, if I remember correctly) and lots of keyboard input so I'm not sure they'd be playable even if you can load them.

no

I could bet no. XVT was a WIndows game not a dos game anyway. Tie fighter might be a better bet but like said above. KB play might make it a pita lol.

X Wing would be your best bet... Yay for sprites!

But even then, it'd be a nightmare to control :s

Actually - this may work. Altough Hoodmeister's right about the controls. I wouldn't fancy using a virtual keyboard to deal with power management, speed, wingman commands and all those other controls you need to play the game...
