Somebody know if Tomb Raider for Pocket Pc works in the Axim?

Yes, it works with Axim... I've tried it... But I hated it especially because of the flaky controls...

I couldn't believe that Maximum PC gave it a high rating... Maybe they weren't really playing it...

[B][FONT=arial] I played Tomb Raider 3 for PS and was complicated but with good details.

The controls are too dificult, I suppose that is the same with the game for pocket.

Just to be more clear... I LOVE TOMB RAIDER! I've played it on my PC as well as PS... and I love it...

I just don't like the PPC port... Controls are very difficult to use...

if you think the controls for spawn on PPC are a little hard to use tomb raiders will frustrate you to no end.

With reference to using tombraider on pocketpc - I unwittingly purchased the pocketpc version before I was made aware that it as problems with xscale processors.As a tombraider fan - the above posts give me some encouragement that it can actually run on a dell axim . I am using the 400MHZ dell axim x5 with the full tombraider pocketpc program (not Explorer based trial!)After running installation program and inputing reg.code the installation ceases with an error statement `cannot find devices id`- the same happens if Itry to manually copy cab file to device and install from there.

Does anyone have any ideas regarding installation procedure?

Any word on a demo that actually runs on the Axim? I contacted EIDOS and they told me no luck - but I wanted to see if anyone else could help me out here with getting Tombraider to run on the Axim. I can't seem to find the demo or full version (hacked for the axim) anywhere...

Agreed, it is horrible controls, and is jerky.

Definatly not a game to buy.

Alto i sure liked the ones for the psx, and the movie was great.

It works and is a great game on the PC but on the Axim the controlls are crap and it is a little choppy.

It works but the control will frustrate you. I played tomb raider 2 on pc and loved it but pocketpc's port sucks becoz of the difficukt controls.
