Oops.. I meant to say red. Shouldn't I just be able to tap on the crossbow and have the arrows fire? My character is going thru the motions but not firing arrows. I was just able to fire another arrow at a worm, but I still can't fire at the pad.

to fire all you need to do is tap the pad,get as close as you can.Also you can recolllect the arrows you shot as long as they are not broken.

But when I tap the pad my character just walks onto it. I wonder if I have found a bug...? Or I'm just an idiot :hide:

So far I can only shoot arrows at the worms. The crossbow won't fire at the pad.

sorry cheryl check your button config for fire and use that located at key mapping and select whatever button you want to attack with

That did the trick - you have to use a hardware button to fire the arrows. You have saved my sanity yet again :) thanks!

So now I can fire arrows when I want, but I still am not able to hit the pad. I really hate the crossbow...

I actually went back to the game and realised i mapped a button to fire.Tell me when you get to level 22 I need a key !

just aim and shoot try diff angles or move back or close, the object is to get the arrow to break on the pad keeping it depressed, aim toward wall so arrow will land on pad

Woohoo! I finally got it.. actually, I had it but wasn't paying attention. I was expecting a message to appear saying a door had opened or some such thing. I have picked up my VIP pass and am heading back to level 12 :)

I have to admit that I lost interest in this one kind of quickly. The secret passages were a bit much, and I HATED the nine or whatever press pads. I also got involved in Arvale II. Maybe once the new release is up, I will try it again.

Yeah, I put this down for Arvale II, too :) I enjoyed that immensely. AE is ok, but I'm with you, Samantha, the secret passages are a bit much and make things irritating.

I could use some help on level 15. Can't get the door to the south of the ladder open. I've placed items on 4 pressure pads, got the demon statue and the VIP pass. Guess I am still missing something somewhere, but I can't find it. *whine* *whine*

**Man, do I HATE those secret doors!!!!!! Grrrr.....

Still no sign of a ladder to the next level. Where the heck is the darn thing?

I am happy to report I have made it to level 18 but there is a door that I cannot open (story of my life). I have not been able to locate a key for it, either and my lockpicks don't work. I have a very low frustration threshold with this game :bang:
