i know exactly your pain in finding a rts game and i loved starcraft but alas their is no starcraft for ppc. You might want to check out WarFare http://www.handango.com/PlatformProd...=96806&product its like starcraft and probably as close as you'll get.

funny, i used to think that about warcraft 2 :P

Would it be that big a deal to adapt it? There have been other PC-PPC adaptations. Starcraft is 7 or 8 years old now, but still has a pretty active following.

with out the source code it is near impossible to port the game to windows mobile.

the warcraft port uses source code from the open source project wargus not the original warcraft2 source code (http://wargus.sourceforge.net/)

unless there is a "free" starcraft project out there or someone can get blizzard to release the source, I doubt we will see a port of starcraft anytime soon

there should be a petition to get the soruce from blizzard so someone can port it

Blizzard will not release the source because of how big a following SC has. If people were to stop playing it and abandon it, it might be possible to get it. Until that happens, don't even bother thinking about it.
