The XBox also isn't running an ARM processor.
You can never compare MHz or GHz on procesors that aren't the same type.

Not all the morphgear libraries cost money, and it's a pretty fast emulator so I wouldn't lay the hate on so soon buddy.
And I'm sure the Axim could handle n64 emulation, the Xbox is just a PIII processor so its not some revolutionary architecture happening there anyhow. It would be slower than current PSX emulation just because it uses 'high level emulation' which is a fair bit harder to emulate.
I wouldn't mind a faster DOSboxPPC to be honest..

There was an emulator called ultrahle which nintendo shut down I think (might be worth a google) which ran n64 games better than the n64 did, in highter res (640x480 iir), on my old pentium 2 400, with a voodoo banshee video card. Only ran on 3dfx cards, but with the right program i'm sure a PPC would be easily capable of running an n64 emu.

There were detailed instructions on how to make a circuit to adapt your own for PC used, and then people started selling them ready made. Not sure if you can still get them.

HAHA an origonal like me..
I had ULTRAHLE on my p2 266 with a Voodoo Banchee (Diamond Monster Fusion (RIP )) and it was fully playable. Slightly slow but it ran great, heck i beat Mario 64, Mario Kart, and Zelda with it.

I've still got all my old voodoo cards: voodoo 2, banshee, voodoo 3 and voodoo 5. Currently spread around various little brothers/sister/mother, but one day they will return home..
Call me a sad b*stard if you like. :D
And sorry for derail..

Does your banchee still work? (What brand and is it AGP/PCI)
I would love to buy that off of ya. ( I need it to throw in a P3 933 so i can play all my old games (Mechwarrior 2 Mercs, Starshot, ect. Lotsa old games) Mine burnt out (5 years of full out use, heck it even ran Giants lol) That card was awesome.

Sorry mate, it's currently part of my mother's comp, but is going into my collection when she finally complains about how slow the old thing is at booting windows 98.
It is a classic though - ran grand prix legends for many all nighters, quake I and II, unreal, UT, oh those were the days. :D
I could have killed nvidia when they put 3dfx out of business.
There's got to be a few on ebay though..

Ya im not happy about nvidia on that either but hey its not completely dead. Sadly Glide is no longer with us but SLI is back lol.
