can someone recommenda good Poker game for my Axim x50v? There are so many out there I don't know which is good and which one I should buy.....I also hope it supports VGA since I have the x50v......thx a bunch
I have two that I like alot and play both on my Dell AXIM X50v
they are " Video Poker Pro " by G3 Studios, and " Aces Texas Hold'em - No Limit " by Concrete Software, thay are both very neat, and you can always get the trail first, to make sure you like em, lots of luck
Maresa
It has the best AI by far and the best controls, too. It doesn't have VGA graphics but it looks fine on my X50v. I believe they're looking at adding VGA graphics at some point, and Birdsoft always has free upgrades.
Nejosh said it, all in texas hold 'em. The link is also in my pda. I tried a couple others and love this game. Every time I pull up to a red light I play, every free minute I play, I love it.
I'm also looking for a good poker game.. so far I think BirdSoft's version got most votes? But I've read that realdice's version has the best AI and the BT and IR multiplayer is pretty cool. So what would you guys suggest?

Birdsofts version is stellar and way ahead of the rest in my opinion. Fast play, nice graphics, good AI and options. It was the first I tried, and then when i tried the others, they really didn't come close.
Birdiestyle,
What I'm really looking for is a PPC version of the online games like www.pokerroom.com, www.pokerstars.net, etc. If you could set up the gaming to link to any of these sights you'd have it made!!!
I agree with fireman on allowing interaction with a gaming site...one with money (be careful here) and one without, just for fun. Playing with real people is usually a lot more fun, although, with your game it's hard to tell the difference sometimes!
Obviously I would love to pursue that type of system further, and have had some minor contacts, but those sites have their own software or purchased software that is VERY heavily regulated. They would have to right their own software to run against it. Im sure I wont be creating my own real money sites anytime soon. I doubt they will go after the PDA market anytime soon, with the limited reliable internet connectivity, though I would guess they will eventually go after the smartphone/pda market somehow. Is the pokerroom internet based client not compatible with the Windows Mobile IE?
We definitely do plan on wifi/bluetooth multiplayer, and possibly internet play, for play money of course.
