Best Doom for PPC ?
Hi, I am looking for the best version of doom to play on my acer n50 (512mhz 128mb ram).

Which is the best to use? I have the full retail wad of doom 1 to use.

Which has the best control and speed etc?

Thanks,

One word... GF Doom. It even allows you to slightly cheat and choose any level you like:

One of GF Doom's Skins allows you to go into landscape mode, which gets rid of the Virtual Pad you are mentioning...

The Industrial skin, it has a small rectangular icon on the top bar, tap that and it switches to landscape.

On my X50v, ID's very own PPC port is much faster and has much better controls than GFDoom.
It's too damn pricey and the support is NIL but it does run better.
DO NOT BUY IT FROM HANDANGO!
THE HANDANGO LINKS ALL GO TO ABANDONED WEB SERVERS.
