I know talking about ROM's is verboten but what about the players for the ROM's I used to play my Genesis and Turbo Graffix 16 all the time, now I want to take them portable ( I used to have an express, that thing was WAY ahead of its time) any help as always GREATLY appreciated.

Check out MorphGear. It plays TurboGrafx16, NES, SuperNES, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, Sega GameGear, Sega Master System.

No Genesis though. If you search the boards here, I think there was a post about Genesis emulator.....but don't believe it worked very well.

Rom players are called Emulators

Second the Sega genesis emulator ran extreamly slow on my 400mhz axim with about 40 mb for program memory.

I literaly got like 1 or 2 frames per second which is HORRIBLE

pocket genesis (they were megadrives where I come from )doesnt really work too well at the mo..if you crank down the refresh rate and o'clock the ax to 498 (if its a 400)...its >almost< playable...
I'm no fan of morph gearI like my emu's free if its possible ...theres an emu called YAMECE that emulates tg16 (pc engine) games , but its a bit buggy (and damn hard to find as well)
