i was wondering on the game "solterra" that it was free right now. when i go there to enter the registration number provided, it tells me that it's not valid. can you tell me how to get it to work?

OK, I've been searching and searching the web for games that use the 2700g 3d Accelerator in the x50v/x51v PDA's and it's been a tough find.

I'm going to try and create a comprehensive list of what ALL is available for the chip, 3d games/demos to programs that use it for mpeg1/2 support. If you have more, just list them, their site, and the company who makes it.

Have you for sure entered the correct user name for your device? It has to be exactly the same to generate the code correctly.

i got the demo to work, but i was wondering if the full game was free. i downloaded through zip file, but it's asking for registration code after i finish level 3.

Yes, the WHOLE GAME is free. as I stated in the first post, (Currently FREE if you press the BUY NOW button). So, go press the buy now button, download the whole game, enter the reg code that page generates, and get to playing.

so, how many levels does the whole game have? after i finish the 3 levels and go to the register page how come it always says "try again" after i enter the registration number provided?

Have you tried uninstalling the demo and installing the FULL version? Remove it completely, and generate a new code based on your PPC username. If that doesn't work, I don't know. It has worked for everyone else who tried it.

i thought i was downloading the full version when i go click the "buy now" button and enter my information. anyway, what is the PPC username and where do i find that in my pocket pc?
am i not supposed to just enter my first and last name when solterra asks for it?
it's frustrating cuz nothing is working and i always get "try again" message. i completed the first 3 levels and i like the game, but i just can't seem to get it to work.

These 3D games are exciting to see on a PDA. However due to the control interface, I would assume that it would be better to play games more suited to using a stylus such as the nintendo DS. I think this is one of the fundamental reasons why games fail on the PDA when the technology has so much potential.

I am actually thinking about investing in a Nintendo DS just because the idea of actually using a stylus to control a game blows my mind. I wish there were more games on the PDA that copied the great games on DS. Developers: check out the great games on Gamespot for DS! >;}
