Regrettably, Solterra doesn't seem to run properly on the x51v. I tried it, and it was EXTREMELY slow and jittery.

It's a shame, since I greatly enjoyed playing the demo on my x50v.. Perhaps an update will be released.

Thanks for this info. I managed to generate the registration code for the full version as you described.

Wonder why they are currently giving away the game ??

Runs great on my X51v. Make sure you don't have other programs running and that the processor isn't being limited.

Another program is out for the Axim X50v/X51v by the makers behind 3DMark 05 and 03. I got Pro of 3Dmark 05 and 03 *cough* and it seems that their newest product 3DMark Mobile 06 is out for only developers *cough* for now *cough*. A commercial version will come out soon when more devices/pocket pc's have built-in 3D accelerated gfx chips. Check out the screenshots and video though, I'm highly impressed !

Can be added to the list or not, it's up to you biohzrd...

Hmmm, a quick gander at that site...

"MobileMark 2005

DVD-ROM Only:
$499.95USD CLICK TO BUY!"

I see that it's available, but no download or anything. I think that it's more of a developer tool than a game, although admittently my list is more than what the title says.

The screenies DO look nice. Anywhere to download a trial by chance?

It runs fine on mine. However I did experience this problem once, and it was when active sync was running. If you have the problem where active sync keeps automatically opening every 5 minutes or so... follow this thread. LINK
In the first post, scroll down to where it talks about active sync.

I just cant get used to the controls of alot of games, Id love to play quake but i think that i would most certainly need some sort of controller to give the game justice. However games like RCT and CIV and Sim city i believe would be able to succeed alot better as they are more point and click type interfaces.

~just my opinion

P.S. if anyone has heard of Any of the above mentioned games (besides Civilation) please send me a PM Sim City would really be awesome to play on my Axim X50v

Thanks l8r

Thats not the 3D accelerated benchmark he was talking about. The new benchmark is called 3DMarkMobile06. Its not available to the public yet, maybe someone will leak it over p2p.

To me, that doesn't look like much of a game at all... I could whip that up in 3d studio max in about an hour... less if i didn't do the cars. I understand it's probably just in developement, and hopefully there will be more updates. I would greatly enjoy a new racing game that actually let me race other computers. Georally EX misses this horribly, and the replay value is almost zero... since I beat it, I haven't went back to it.

Quake Mobile version 1.20 adds stylus input. Now it just needs the option to flip the screen. I want to use the stylus in my left hand and the d-pad for movement on the right.
