Texas Hold'em - which one?

RealDice and Birdsoft have had their versions of No-Limit out for a while. If you have played both, which do you prefer? Or, is there another that you like better? And why?
Thanks for your educated input.

I only had the trial for Real Dice and while it may look better I think the Birdsoft one is way better. I like the AI and career mode for Birdsoft.

I also agree with the Birdsoft votes. New update just came out a few days ago if I remember right. Great game...

Birdsoft gets my vote - Realdice looks pretty but is a chore to play. Birdsoft looks ugly (sorry Birdsoft, I know you post here, but it's true) - however it plays well and that's what matters. I hope there will be a VGA version soon!

yah.. check out the trials. actually both have their strong points. So I had to get both. Realdice's version has a really good AI. I played a lot on both and always thought the bluffs were better on realdice. But if you are not that hardcore you probably won't even notice anything. Plus it has multiplayer support (IR+BT). Birdsoft's has a overall nicer playing experience on the single/tournament mode. Realdice's version has a pretty simple user interface compared to birdsoft's (with animated characters, customable colors). but then again the cards are more visible and easy to track on realdice. I'm kindda divided on this..

(and not to forget theres Aces hold 'em no limit too)

Ugly? That's a first! Well at least you're honest!? You really like the looks of the other two better? Ill give you a couple of the players are a little rough, but I play it all the time on a VGA device and even pixel doubled, I don't consider it ugly? I guess Im biased. And I guess to get 8 guys on the screen you have to cut some corners(like the font), but.....(a little cut on one of my competitor's, I really don't like being portrayed as a middle aged bald man, maybe because its coming too quickly ).

Anyway, thanks for all the votes All-In's way....

I spent all week working on the graphics back end and now have square screen support 95% done, and am able to swap graphic libraries if need be for WM2005 support and VGA... So yes VGA is coming very quickly. I think next week is allocated completely to that too... It should look a ton better yet... (though it will have the same cpu players for the first iteration).

I'll have to play realdice again.. Last time I ate both competitor's AI up... Course I'm VERY hardcore...

Please try the trials, obviously one game might be a better fit for what you're looking for....

(and see the other poker thread for a discount code on our game, if you choose to go that way)

Realdice has bluetooth support and the worst transistions between screens you'll ever be subjected to. Birdsoft is better all around, but lacks multiplayer capability.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't really like the look of the other players. Perhaps VGA has spoilt me

Birdie,
I just bought yours. I will tell everyone...the AI is second to none. When you release the VGA version, will that upgrade be free?
Thanks for a great product. Nice job.
