I use the Axim x30 along with the Delorme blue logger. They comunicate with bluetooth and with Tom Tom on the axim it works great for me and so far I have very little problems seeing the screen with it mounted on my handlebars. Yes I said handlebars as I use it on my goldwing with a ram mount and the logger is velcroed above the speedometer and under the windshield.

I used streets and trips and several others but tomtom works the best as on the handheld I do not need the laptop to set the course all I do is touch the side of the screen and I can program a location while riding and if I make a wrong turn or get off a exit while riding (for gas or food)it resets the route to put me back on track. Plus if I could hear it there are voice prompts available even in other voices.

My initial guess was that interoperability with Wisbar was the culprit, but I didn't bother doing any other testing to verify.

In any case, I saw an incremental improvement in the display, but it was still quite jaggy compared to the competition, and in my opinion, too cluttered to read at a quick glance while driving.
Mapoplis is at version 4.6. The bottom bar corruption on VGA was fixed and the fonts/jaggies are all gone. You can get the latest beta, version 4.6 Final Release candidate 4, from the public beta site at www.gpspassion.com.
