:exc: The turn-by-turn voice option on my Garmin Que software does not work. When I spoke to a Garmin Tech regarding this, he informed me that I did not have the voice files loaded. So I ordered the CD a week ago but have not received it yet. Apparently the download of Que from their website does not include these necessary voice files.

I have a funny feeling that Garmin never shipped that CD as I have not seen the transaction in my checking account. I am tired of waiting and impatient. Does any have the Que software who can provide me with these voice files?

The voice files is on the same CD that installs the iQue software on the PPC. There is no separate CD. If you have the iQue s/w CD for the PPC, the voice files are part of the installation. If you don't see it, you probably installed it incorrectly.

That's the issue, they never supplied me with the iQue Software.

you bought the GPS 10 Deluxe, not just GPS 10 and did not get the Ique software disc???

I purchased the bluetooth sensor only.

well that explains it..the voice files will be of no help without the maps or Ique software...you will need to purchase the software

GPS10 will work with non Garmin software as well...

GPS10=sensor only
GPS10 Deluxe=sensor and Ique, nroute software and maps

do you have the IQue software..I am so confused?

You can download the Que software directly from Garmin. Along with the world basemap. I downloaded it hoping that I could use my current Mapsource City Nav 7 on the axim as well as on the street pilot III.

Unfortunately I believe that you have to have the gps 10 so that it can get the device ID. I realise that I wouldn't be able to use it for navigation with my 338, but It would have been handy just for mapping, especially considering how much City Nav cost.

you can only d/l the updated 2.7 exe..but you will need unlock codes to use the map software

I own 2610 from garmin but I did not think you could use on the pda...based on GPS 10 deluxe site...they say you need city select....

but I could easily be wrong

The Que software on the Garmin update site is NOT the full software, it is only an update. Besides the voice files, you will also need basemap files.

If you only bought the bluetooth sensor, then you still need to buy the software. The files on Garmin's wensite are updates to the original installation files.
