I got the BT-338 and Dell Axim X51v. The BT-338 comes with a car charger that looks like it would fit the adaptor for the Axim. Can I use that car charger to power the Axim in the car?

nevermind..it will charge both the BT-338 and Axim...will not charge the axim if power <30%...

yep - as you found, it will do both. or just set your axim to on permanently while you charge the GPS.

You can also get a mount that will charge them both at the same time as well. An Arkon powered mount will do that and boost the volume as well.

i have an x50 and bt-338, i usually use its car charger with the axim but i noticed that sometimes screen brightness change, swap between battery power setting and external power setting. First time i used didn't happen but now happen often, also on other car. What should be?

sorry by reading your coments I've not clar what's the final recomendation. Can I use the BT-338 GPS car charger with my X51v Axim PDA in my car?
Or, Must I buy Dell Axim car charger?
Are they compatible without damages to de PDA?
