CF GPS with SD card??
Hello everyone. I'm looking to add GPS to my Axim I just purchased. I was thinking of the CF GPS plug-in. i was wondering if the SD card slot would still work with the GPS plugged in the CF slot??

Also is there a "better" GPS system/program I should get??

Any help is much appreciated and thanks in advance!!

Welcome to Aximsite!

There should be no problems using a CF GPS with the SD card. In fact, you may need that SD for your maps. Which Axim do you have? If you have a BT-enabled version, you can also consider BT GPS receivers.

Heck I have an use the CF GPS HAICOM 305III. I use the sd card slot on the gps for all the maps. *kinda makes it an all in one product* that I can used on multiple PDA's

Then you still have your SD slot for other things., mp3, music, dvd's etc..

I use a CF card GPS as well (Pharos) and use the SD card slot for my maps. It works well.
