I want to get a family member a Gps recievers and mapping software for the us. He has a X50V with a 1 gb sd card. Can I get one for under $150. Any help would be appreciated.

Ho, ho, ho;
I know that you can get a Bluetooth GPS for less than $80USD, but I don't know what you're going to do for software. That's going to run you about another $150USD. You can probably buy a cheaper mouse type GPS for under $50USD and then pay another $150.00 for software.

This might get bumped because I mention a store, but try Fry's Electronics (www.outpost.com), www.craigslist, or Ebay for a deal or comparison.

You can find software such as iGuidance and Mapopolis for around $100.
TomTom is $150 for software.

You can get a CF or bluetooth unit for about $100 (Semsons or buygpsnow), and you can get software like Iguidance for $95 with free shipping from storagemedia.com. I have the Haicom 303III with a bluetooth slipper. Can use this as either a CF or bluetooth unit, and it's about $130. And Iguidance does work fine with WM5.
