Help me navigate the GPS thicket
I need a GPS for my Axim. Usage is for wilderness areas, VERY far off the beaten track, and in many cases inside thick timber. Here are my criteria:
1. WASS compliant
2. Good sensitivity required
3. Software that allows easy entry of waypoints and notations.
4. Software that allows easy (i.e. non manual) transfer of waypoints to DeLorme 3-D topoquad maps.
5. Transfer of waypoints through the cradle or usb cable to the Delorme software residing on my desktop.
Any suggestions appreciated.
