HaiCOM HI-305III with Streets and Trips

I installed my CF HaiCOM HI-305III and then installed HaiCOM GPSinfo software. Then Streets and Trips, started the GPSinfo software everything picked up Lat and Log. Everything! Opened Streets and Trips loaded map and tried to start the GPS. I get "The communications port is available, but no signal is being received. Make sure the GPS receiver is turned on and connected to the correct port." Waited like 15 min tried to start GPS agian same thing. What am i doing wrong. I also set in Streets and Trips to Com5 and is set to Com5 in GPSInfo. This really should be not that hard. Under GPS Configuration in Streets and Trips it stays that the GPS Receiver must be NMEA compatible and set to NMEA 0182 ver. 2.0 Does anyone know if the HaiCOM-305III is?

AXIM X5
ROM Version A05
Pocket PC 2003 Ver. 4.20.1081

The problem is in the way Pocket Streets handles GPS ports. On my Toshiba I can't use bluetooth as it won't recognize my bluetooth cards port as having a signal even though every other piece of software I own does. I have not had any problems with my Haicom 303III however being recognized on either the X50v or my old Toshiba. Point it at com1 and off it goes.. Your unit should be fine and work with this software, but... Sorry I can't offer a solution but simply point out that this is a somewhat common problem. It's not all that useful anyway as it simply allows you to pinpoint where you are. It doesn't support moving map with voice guidance.
