No matter what i try i cant get the GPS stuff working. I went into Bluetooth console, discovered the device and Selected the Serial port interface of the BT-Gps device.

Still when i run Iguidance nothig works. HELP PLEASE..

Additional steps:

1. Create New Outgoing COM port for the paired BT GPS device under COM Ports tab. Take note of this COM port (either 7 or 8)
2. Go to iGuidance, GPS option, select the same COM port you just created above. You can also set the Baud Rate to 38400.

I figured this finally. All a result of [lack of] OR [very bad] documentation.

In order to make Iguidance (or for that matter any Bluetooth GPS) work with AXIM51v,

BLUE TOOTH CONFIGURATION(BT-338 )

1. Go to AXIM 51v Blue tooth manager and establish a new partnership with the BLUE tooth GPS .
2.Click on COM ports and establish a [new outgoing port]. Pick a port ( i picked COM8)

3.Start Iguidance and all good to go!

Thanks Beep beep. Thanks a lot for the info.
I got the same steps from the buygpsnow forum.
However the documentation provided by Iguidance or Bt-338 or the Vendor is very very very very pooor.
