Question Is tomtom 5 stable on an Axim x30 mid?

I'm just wondering cuz I plan to pick up a x30 mid for a good price... I don't feel like shelling out for anything higher as it's my first ppc. I also wouldn't mind overclocking the mid if i had to, to 420 no problem... 520 maybe. So, will tomtom 5 run fine on an x30 mid? Thanks.

I would but the low doesn't have wifi or bluetooth... that makes it very very unappealing to me. I am moving to San Fran, so I am pretty sure wifi will be something I need. Why do you recommend the low?

a) cheaper
b) you can buy a wi-fi sd card and in total with the low it is cheaper
c) internet is ok,but the screen is small

i have the low with a wi-fi sd card and it works fine and it is your first pda so go for the cheaper

Don't be stupid, dellaximx30nic.
junglegoods wants to run a GPS program on the PDA, and in order to make use of the newest, most accurate and most convenient GPS receivers, especially if he's thinking about the TomTom bundle, he needs a bluetooth connection AND a huge memory card for the map data. So don't tell him to buy the cheapest version AND a BT card (is that even cheaper than the mid with BT and WLAN already implemented?), because that is neither what he wants or needs.

Btw, TomTom Navigator 5 works fine on my Axim x30 mid, and the TomTom Mk2 BT receiver is outstanding: 20 hours of battery life, typically 14ft accuracy.

Edited for HTML goodness.

I can tell you NEVER go with the cheapest. Always go for the midpoint or better when getting something new. If you get the cheapest, like an x30 low, you will either hate the item because it doesn't do what is needed or you will end up spending even more money when you have to get replace it with a fuly functional item.
