Mapopolis acts strange or is it me?

I just tested Mapopolis with a local map on my X51v. Looks nice, easy to use. I saw two quirks that I cannot understand:

1) I asked for directions and it suggested to take city streets instead of the highway. I tinkered with all the settings and still had the same result. I know from experience that travelling on the highway is quicker.

2) When I zoom in a region downtown, some major streets are missing until I actually search for an address on that street (or choose to see all the points of interest, which are too many and are hiding the street names).

Any input will be appreciated.

beemer2005:
1. Check "Tools>Setting>Routeoptions" and select what you prefere
2. The small + and - icons on the bottom of the screen control the amount of detail shown on the map.
(You can also "force" Mapopolis to go through your preferred locations/roads - tap on the location on the map, then on "Route Through".)

I am using Mapopolis for a long time, without any problems.
Look also on the gpspassion.com, there is the official Mapopolis forum.
You can always e-mail the support@mapopolis.com (I believe it is a correct address, check it), their support is prompt and knowledgeable.

Also, you should move the slider all the way to the right on the Route Options screen under Route Calculations.
