How do I disable the Axim's Power-Saving auto turn-off in iGuidance?

Subject says it all. Probably a stupid question, but I don't see a way to disable the system's auto turn-off in iGuidance, which seems kind of stupid given that a bunch of my other apps can do this just fine. I've been manually turning it on and off in the Axim settings -> power section everytime I use iGuidance - but it doesn't seem like I should have to do this every time.

I am assuming you are not using a car adapter with the axim. With external power adapter, you can set the unit to always on. Otherwise on interal battery, it's control by the powersave features

That is correct. I have a car adapter but I don't bother to plug it in because I am mostly using it for short trips. I guess I can just plug it in whenever I want to use the gps, but being able to disable the power saving feature directly from iGuidance would be nice.
