I've been looking for a serial cable to connect my Axim to my Garmin eTrex. I know it's possible to modify the Dell cable to work, but I'm looking for a more elegant solution.

TheSupplyNet.com says they're going to offer a specialized Axim to Etrex cable that will power both the Axim and the eTrex with a cigaretter lighter plug. This sounds good, but they've keep pushing out the date that their cable will be available. Also, they want to charge $60 for their cable, which seems a little expensive.

Has anybody used cables from pc-mobile.net? Any opinions on the best cable setup to use?

Hi, I too am waiting for a cable to connect a garmin etrex, i am keeping an eye on this site (supplynet.com), they have a release daye of 30 May 03 for their cable, trouble is i got so impatient i ordered a Tom Tom 2 kit instead, you know what they say about a fool and his money........

I used a cable for my ipaq and garmin etrex from GeorgeCo. You can email adazz@direcway.com. He has a cable for the Axim. I do not know anyone who has tried it.
