Hi,

Just got my brand new x51v in the mail. I was hoping to use it with my BT GPS receiver and my iGuidance that I had used on my HP2215. I installed iGuidance and I get a weird message that says:

"The file iGuidanceVGA can not be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You must reinstall or restore this file."

I tried reinstalling, with no difference.

I am running Windows Mobile 5.0 (came preinstalled), and my friend who has an X50V uses this version (iGuidance) with no problems.

Running iGuidance 2.1.0 - (does 2.1.3 make a difference)

Just curious...did you have to get another activation key to install Iguidance on a different PPC? I had to go through this process w/ Oncoursenavigator twice. Once when I upgraded my x50v to WM5 and again when I upgraded to an x51v. Does Iguidance allow you to install the software on multiple PPC's?

Only the latest version of Iguidance works with WM5. I believe there is a patch or update you can use to bring earlier versions up to 2.1.3.

Version 2.1.3.2 on iGuidance web site for WM5. It's a free upgrade for all registered copies of 2.1.

does anyone know if the European maps work with x51v/WM5? I clearly see that the 2.1.3 patch works with USA but no comment on Europe maps and the IG site says that a "WM5 patch coming soon" when you look at the compatibility for the Europe Maps.
