Holy crap that looks nice! Like a combination of GPXSonar and a program like Vito Navigator. I bought Vito after reading a bunch of recommendations but I'm not terribly thrilled by its refresh rate or the fact that it only gives you a bearing screen that shows 180 degrees of visibility. For example, if something is behind me and to the right, Vito points 90 degrees to the right and doesn't adjust until it's withing the 180 degree viewing field.
From the BeeLineGPS manual, I can already see the "Goto" display is much nicer than Vito Navigator's. How is BeeLineGPS's refresh?
And one last question: how do you import a bunch of waypoint info? Can you load up GPX or LOC files from geocaching.com? (OK, that's 2 questions)

Glad I could help, does that mean your getting one? If so you may be able to find the same deal I got on EBay, I noticed the seller posted another and it truely was new in box, everything wrapped in plastic fresh from the factory...

Gotta agree that BeeLineGPS software looks very sexy, just have to put off mentioning it to my Cache partner till valentines day when I have some "credit" built up...

Wouldn't that require direct hookup to the car's computer?
It shouldn't...you're basically just talking about tracking your vehicle speed and calculating that against time and distance traveled, all of which are data that a GPS unit can log. I would imagine that you'd even be able to determine lateral g-forces based on speed and change of direction, but I can't begin to guess at the calculus that would require. :)

Ah I see what ya mean. I didn't know what kind of specs they published about the cars they review. Fun stuff to think about, except the calculus stuff!
I used a small bluetooth gps reciever with Microsoft streets and trips (they include a mobile version ) and you can import the map sections to the memory card and axcess them - works like a charm
Read gps 101 & 102 and the reviews written by JAKERICH. Then learn all about wifi by reading IKEHIKER's tutorial! :approve:
Nuts! I was in a hurry when I wrote that yesterday and actually wrote JakeRich and went back and changed it to ikehiker. NEVER change your first intuition!

Wow, that does look nice indeed. Man I'm gonna have to sell more stuff to buy all these cool programs. Thanks for the info!
So that BeelineGPS or GPSTuner program, can they co-exist with iGuidance? My Axim and BT receiver and iGuidance software will be here next week and I have always wanted to GeoCache a bit.
