I have an Axim X50v, with a SysOnChip 512Mb CF GPS receiver. Because I use this primarily for gliding software the software is sophisticated enough to have an option of DTR 'ON', which the SysOn GPS receiver seems to need. Other nav software doesn't appear to have this option, so when I try to load Ordannce Survey based nav software, it cannot see the GPS receiver signal, possibly because the DTR is not set to 'ON'. Does anyone have experience with this sort of problem, and a solution? I've contacted the software suppliers but response is slow. Is it possible to set the DTR to on via the Registry?
