Mine did too but after her first time out she loved it and now has some of her friends doing it too... nothing like doing it with my wife and a couple of her friends!
She now said "NO" and she is also an x-marine.Need I say more?
As a little "sub poll" if you will, I have to ask: What's the latest/earliest you've been out geocaching with your Axim? I found one tonight/this morning (depending on how you look at it) at 12:15...ahem...0015.

My family (Wife, stepson) goes by the name "Coffee Snobs". We're in the Pacific Northwest and most of the caches we've found have been on the Long Beach peninsula.
One of the things I like best is the fact that you find so many places you never knew existed but are right around the corner...
I just started geocaching
I use my x30h and a Royaltek rbt-2001.I use beelineGps and GpxSonar, I found only a cache yet, but plan to go next weekend, unfortunately there aren't that many in a close range around home most are more than 30 to 40 miles away.
Same name as here : chihiro.
in: a couple of comments. out: a lot of information.

I couldn't agree more Lost Dog! That is one of the greatest aspects of this sport. I encourage anyone who gets envolved in this to not get to focused on the cache and forget to smell the roses! Get that cache but enjoy all things around you during and after the hunt! Enjoy. :approve:
Did five caches yesterday, was a bit nippy out but we still had great fun and ran into three other teams out chaching as well. How many of y'all have bumped into other cachers while you were out?

Happens all the time up here, we've got a very high cache density and lots of cachers. When I do a nearerst cache search to my home co-ordinates I come up with 5,651 caches!
Im reading more and starting to get it. Am I right in saying that people get stuff and drop off stuff?
Visit geocaching.com and click the link titled "Getting Started". It will make it all very clear. To answer your question, yes, that's really how it works but there's so much more to it.

That is without a doubt the best geocaching site. Also go to the forums area. There is a forum for people just like yourself and lots of friendly people willing to answer your questions.
