Tried a few searches so sorry if the answer is here somewhere already.

Dell Axim X50V TomTom5

Before I uninstall and reinstall i thought I'd check out if anyone had had the same experience. TT was fine but came to run the software for the first time in a few weeks and all I get is the software Legal Notice IMPORTANT: When using navigation aids................
Click 'I Agree' and I'm back to the Desktop!!:realmad:

No recent software installs or config changes so wtf is going on????/

It sounds like something got corrupted. The only fix may be to reinstall TomTom. PITA, but that should fix it. I'd also try a soft reset, then check memory to see if there is enough to run TomTom. Typically GPS programs use a LOT of memory. I don't know TT's minimum, but if it's like most, 20-25Meg free before running is a good target range.

Thanks - did try a soft reset before and again now, no change. Free memory 9mb storage 35mb programs..........no software/apps, just the OS and 25mb Ram gone!!!!
As an aside what's the best option for memory settings?...my total main memory (61.75mb - where's the other 2.25 ?????) is divided
