Aximsitex50icon Good GPS

I'm looking for a good GPS for my car and a mount. What is a pretty good GPS that is pretty cheap and car mount that holds real good and will have a charger in it to go to the car. I almost forgot to say that I have an X51v. Please

What do you consider cheap? Do you want a powered mount? I strongly recommend you with a bluetooth GPS, CF might seem cheaper but there are all kinds of issues with WM5. Both Buygpsnow and semsons offer discounts and bundles. The sirfIII based Globalsat BT-339 is a popular choice, Buygpsnow rebadges it as the Oncourse BT-339 and Semson's as the iTrek M3. If you want a GPSthat turns on automatically when your X51v is present, the iBlue is a good choice, particularly if you intend to mount the GPS permanently in your vehicle. It has terrific battery life too (~30 hrs). The sirfIII Holux GPSlim 236 is also popular, smaller size than the BT-339/338/M3 but with half the battery life (~17hrs vs ~8hrs). AFAIK, all come with AC and car chargers and considering the long battery life of these models, you won't need to charge them too often. I charge my BT-339 ~ once a month.

Im new on this site :) and I've just bought a Dell axim x51v also. I didnt get the dell GPS addon as it looked pretty expensive and I was sure it would be avaiable cheaper somewhere else. I have never had a PDA or GPS before, I am am a total newbie! My PDA hasn't arived yet, it has been dispatched but I would like to buy a GPS aswell. What steps would you recommend me to take? What do I need to get me started?

The cheaper the better, I would like a compromised price though, I dont want anything too cheap, a decent system would be good! The dell one was 140 for the cheapest option, so I would say around 80-90?

Would appreciate the help!
