I just bought an IOGEAR GBGPS201 and am having some issues with it. I am using an x51v advanced.

It seems to work great for the most part, until the backlight turns off or I turn the PPC completely off. When I turn it back on, the PPC slows to a crawl. I have tried stopping IOGEAR manually before shut down and it makes no difference. I am constantly performing soft resets.

IOGEAR couldn't help me and said there are probably some compatability issues between the software or GPS and the Axim. They just recommended taking it back.

The software works flawlessly on my laptop.

I'm thinking about pairing it with mapopolis. People say it tends to be more stable.
