How about for a BIKE!

So I ordered a BT-339 and iGuidance software. Now, does anyone do routes for bikes? I can't have it telling me to turn onto an interstate.

You should have a selection somewhere in the software to tell the program to not use interstates. I know iGuidance does.

I did order iGuidance. It would be pretty funny to turn Interstates off and forget to turn it back on for the car.

Riding a bike is much different than driving a car though. I do all sorts of stuff on a bike that I'm not supposed (or allowed by law) to do, such as go the wrong way on a one way street. Plus I can ride through parks and bike trails. A local route for a bike would be very different than for a car.

I don't seriously expect that anyone has maps/routes for bike GPSing but it would be a great conversation piece.

Oncourse Navigator version 5 has a motorcycle routing option. I know there is a frankenbike that visits the forum that loves it. He said it tends to avoid interstate in favor of winding road. I would prefer interstates, so this must be a biker thing.

I prefer to avoid going up hills. Down hills is ok. I think I need software that will map a route using only down hills. And preferably eliminate stop signs.

Garmin software lets you specify car/motorcycle, truck, bus, emergency, taxi, delivery, bicycle, or pedestrian as a routing preference.

Very good, I'll see what I can find. I don't think that I'm going to pay for two softwares however.
