tomTom experts?

I'm off on a tour in europe on the bike in a few weeks. A number of us have PDAs with TomTom5 - how does TT store routes entered? I ask as it would make life really easy for us if the routes could be set up on one PDA and then 'route' files copied to the other PDAs.

Is this possible, if so how! :) .............any other suggestions/advice appreciated.

Cheers
Andy

Look at the itinerary planning options. You can add location points and save the itinerary and then load those to each PDA. Now provide you all start from the same location it should give you the same routes. I'm not sure if you can create a route using advance routing feature and then copy some file that would have the same route.

If you find a way to do it, let us know. :)

I believe tomtom saves information such as routes and favorites to a .cfg file with the same name as the map being used. So copying this .cfg file to the same place on each device may do what you want in replicating the same data across devices. The .cfg file should be in the same directory as your map file. I haven't tried this since I only have one device so be sure to backup the .cfg before you overwrite it.
