I have the Iguidance and the globalsat 337 also a CF card version. I have it configured under gps, system settings as gps program port: none, hardware port com4, and the baudrate at 4800. The Iguidance program is also set at com4 and same baudrate. This configuration works but some of the time have to do a soft reset to get it to work right away. Other times it begins to seek the satellites, gets a fix and than freezes and requires a shut down and restart. Good luck

Hi Mikexim,

Use a different GPS utility like CE Monitor or GPS Monitor or it is also known as WinFast Navigator for the PPC.

Run the above program, and set the COM port to a free COM port, and try different baud rates e.g. 4800-57600. See if the GPS utility recognises if its NMEA or SiRF protocol, and/or baud rates. Don't assume baud rate is 4800. Give the GPS utility at least 30 seconds to read from the GPS unit.
