Satisfied Customers

Hi:
All of you who are happy with your GPS system on an X51, I'd love to hear what you bought. Complainers complain, but satisfied customers probably don't log in that much. Nevertheless, before I head to New Hampshire this summer I'd like to get the best Bluetooth GPS system I can afford.
Thanks for the info.

I have no problems at all with my Fortuna Slim BT GPS. Great little gizzmo. Tied to my Axim X30 and TomTom 5, no problems at all.

I have the Garmin GPS 10, with their software. Love it. Hard to set up, for me at least, but once I got it going it's been great.

Thanks everyone. If you could put what you paid, that would make this a real resource!

I use the Dell BT GPS, works fine, no complaints at all. Think it is under 200 complete with the BT transmitter, maps, and software.

I have the Dell Bluetooth GPS unit (I bought it with my x51v) and it works great. Although, I've only used it twice. :-)

iGuidance w/globalsat BT-338 or OnCourse BT-339 from buygpsnow.com. Price is now around $170 with aximsite discount. I paid more months ago when prices were higher. Iguidance works with PPC and Laptop, which works great for me.

iG and Bt-339 and I love it. It doesn't turn on bluetooth automatically is my only possible complaint since normally I leave it off. But after a minute or two I realize that it isn't on and turn it on. That is a bit tough while driving though. But I just got it two weeks ago so there is still a lot to learn.

iG + BT339 as well here. Installed without a hitch, and was up and running immediately. I'm probably in the minority, but I really like the fact that the BT339 is an auto-off-only unit. That way I never have to worry that I forgot to turn it off after reaching my destination. I know the i-Blue has a really long standby time (I think it's about two weeks), but my infrequent use of the system would result in a drained battery pretty frequently.

I have a Socket MyNavigator wireless Bluetooth GPS system and it pairs with my Axim X51V with no problems, appears to work fine but I am yet to test it in real life conditions.

This was very cheap because I paid nothing for it.............I won it in a competition I entered into, well it was more of a survey of a Socket Mobile PowerPack that I purchased.
