Aximsitex50icon Dell GPS Navigation Software - Corrupt Installation?

Hi, I recently decided to transfer my Dell GPS Navigation software from main system memory to my SD card. I removed the program from the PDA as well as from my laptop computer, then did a clean reinstall. Now I cannot launch the application from the PDA... keep getting the following message:

"The file 'DellNavVGA' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file."

My specs are as follows:

* Axim x51v
* Windows Mobile 5 (A06)
* 2GB Kingston SD card

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling three times and still no luck. Anyone else experience this same problem? Any solutions or suggestions??

I had the same error (on initial install); I had to do a s'soft reset' and then re-install on both the laptop and the PDA

Hi, I tried your suggestion twice - still no luck.

I also noticed that in my Start Menu I have what appears to be an old link to launch the GPS software and I cannot remove it (by old I mean the icon is blank - and when I try to delete under Settings > Menus it tells me "Unable to move that item.")

Could this somehow be affecting the installation? Is it possible that the old installation (or a portion of it) is still in memory somwhere? If that's the case, how do I remove it (i.e. can I edit the registry?)

Thanks in advance...
