I tried searching but nothing addressed my inqiry specifically. This is V4.7 using Holux GR-271. I can get it to plot a GPS trail, but when I use the calculate distance feature, I can only a)draw a straight line or B)draw only on known roads. Am I SOL or just missing something? Thanks,

I'm not sure extactly what your asking:

1. If you want to see distance travelled in realtime from a defined route, the "ETA" panel displays this plus distance yet to go and estimated time of arrival.

2. If you want to track distance travelled randomly, the GPS datalogging option captures your movement that can be viewed/saved in multiple formats.
