Cannot find Device.bin
I guess I am just out in left field. I still cannot find Device.bin so I can install the patch I guess I could always just re-enter the number I have everything on the SD card and when I explore the card there is nothing that looks like this path \Program Files\EasyPocketNAV\OnCourse Navigator\. I did find a file that has a large number on with an extension of .HDS but the number does not look anything like any my serial numbers. The software has been working fine except for the issues the patch will correct. Sorry for being so lame on this but I am lost.
I have posted this with OnCourse Support but the reply I got was that I should not be looking for the extension of BIN as it may be hidden I guess it is hidden because I cannot find file either.
The Software runs fine I guess I should just leave well enough alone.

How about going about it a different way....
Cradle your device, and then use My Computer to get there with Activesync. You should have an icon in My Computer called "Mobile Device" or similar. Double click on that and then double click on "My Pocket PC". You should be see your SD Card now, and you can double click that and then double click "EasyPocketNAV OnCourse Navigator". You should be able to get your device.bin file now.
The nice part about doing it this way is you can unhide hidden files and see the file extensions (if you've got My Computer set up to show these items).
Regards,
Gary

Thanks for the reply I have tired that and nothing I have done a search on every folder on the SD card and nothing shows not even the path they describle the only thing that comes up is the file with the extenision of HDS or for that matter nothing even with an .ini which I think is strange also. I am thinking I should have at least one file call PREFS.INI which I cannot find.

If you're not seeing the folders, is it possible you've installed it into main memory and not your SD card?

I installed the OCN5 intrim upgrade on my X51 and since then OCN5 has NOT be able to detect a GPS signal. It worked fine before the upgrade. I also have Mapopolis installed and I'm not having any problems with it. I've contacted OCN5's tech support (by e-mail) but nothing they have suggest has worked. Anyone else having this problem?

socpsy, I deleted my GPS from the bluetooth manager and re-installed it using com 7 and I'm still not able to get OCN5 to detect the GPS signal. Anything you can think of that may help me?

Ravnew, you actually would make the change in the OCN software. In OCN go to settings/gps and you can manually change the settings there. If that's what you did and I misunderstood I apologize. I'll give it some more thought.

SOCPSY, in the OCN5 software I can only choose from com's 1-5, there is not com port 7 or 8 and those are the only tow WM5 will let me choose for my GPS unit. It all worked fine before I used the intrim patch and now I've re-installed the original version I had and it won't connect either.

Not to worry, I've restore a backup made with Sunny soft and now everything is working fine again. Ii'm not going to try and upgrade again until version 5.3 hits and even then I'm going to be sure to have a recent backup handy. Thanks for the help.
