gps software advice, iguidance, x51v

I am looking into some gps software and hardware for my x51v. The software that I am considering buying is iguidance. I have a few questions:

1. Does iguidance give you a way of plotting a course using specific roads ahead of time?
2. If a wrong turn is made, does the software recalculate the course? If so does it reroute you back to the original course, or will it recalc the entire course? (IE. I am going to South Carolina from Pennsylvania, I do not want to take I95, if I start down I79 to I77, will it take me back to I95 or give me new directions(understand?,lol) , this is the route I want to take http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=e...beach,+sc&om=1 )

I need to move between states so TomTom is out for me. I would like to be able to plan my route ahead of time. Based on this is iGuidance still a good choice for my needs? If not what should I look into. As it stands I am planning to purchase the iGuidance bundle with the OnCourse Sirf star GPS receiver. Thanks for any advice

1. It doesn't give you the option of choosing exactly which streets to include in the route, but it does give you the ability to avoid certain roads. So you would create a route from A to B, and if it includes a road you don't want to travel on, you would select that portion and have it exclude it. iGuidance will then route around that. But even then it may not give you the exact route you want.

2. The software will recalculate if you miss a turn or make a wrong turn. It will first attempt to reroute you back to the original route, but after a few missed turns, it will then recalculate a new route. I read on gpspassion.com that there's a registry tweak that will make the program recalculate the entire route if a turn is missed every time.
