I know in your travels you have experienced the good and the bad with PDA car mounts. I wanted to know in your days, months, years of experience what has proven to be the good the bad and the ugly of the speaker and non-speaker car mount.

I purchaced the G4850S INTEGRATED GPS CAR KIT and have been using for a couple of months now and love it. you can use either the goose neck windshield mount or the vent mount. it's very durable my axim hasn't fallen out of it yet, i use it in a work van and travel on some rough roads with substandard shocks, in both portrait and landscape mode. the speaker is definitely loud enough. check out the review that jakerich did http://www.aximsite.com/articles/link.php?id=313 this review convinced me to buy it.

the arkon 720 works very well for me. i'm still looking for a RF transmitter that will fit behind it so I can broadcast sound from the axim to the car's stereo
