Changes by Map Viewer version from ClearRoute release (4.0)

4.14 (1) added integrity check for possible file corruption (due to, say, removing device from cradle during
syncing)

(2) added feature to allow a specific latitude and longitude to be entered to find a location or define a maplet location. This is invoked by tapping Tools > Find > Latitude/Longitude.

(3) Also made a fix so that the cross hairs are always displayed at the tap point when display coordinates is
specified (only unless a landmark is selected - then the landmark coordinates are shown).

4.06 (1) Administrative changes for User signon panel for ClearRoute

(3) Made a slight change to logic for recognizing a turn as a highway exit.

(4) Adding a ding dong sound before voice if no sounds within the last 7 minutes in response to user suggestion, and purging sound queue before doing a reroute.

(5) Added an item ("All Settings") in the menu bar at the bottom of each user settings panel which pops up a menu to make it easier to navigate among the seven categories of user settings without going back to the main screen.

(6) Added a GPS logging feature as an option. If turned on, GPS data is recorded in a fixed size wraparound file. It can be displayed in a list format or as a trail on the map. Tapping a dot on the trail shows the time, date, speed, heading, and altitude. It can also be played back to demo or test the navigation system like the GPS player for previous versions. (This log file format is incompatible with that other log file format though). To activate just go to Settings > GPS Options and check the Log Data box.

If users testing the program turn on data logging and discover problems which can be duplicated by playing back the log file, all they have to do is send us a copy of their log file.
