I have a axim x51v and have trouble connecting via bluetooth to Trimbles ProXH GPS receiver using ArcPAD. I can connect eventually but it is very unreliable. Usually it telles me that COM port is being used by another application. I will still get this message after a soft reset. Other times is asks for a pass key and though there is not one, I click on 'next' and it tells me that the pass key is wrong or there is a problem with the connection and wants me to put another passkey in. Finally when I do connect a message pops up in bluetooth manager that the ProXH wants to connect with my axim and when I say yes it asks for a passkey but I cannot hit next without entering a passkey. I will then open ArcPAD and connect but the passkey wing will always stay open. The axim/proxh is such a sweet set-up but its so damn frustating that going through the process the exact same way each time will connect sometimes but not others.

Does anyone else have similar problems????

Try 0000 for the passkey (four zeros).

I am having a similar problem but an not even able to have the two (AXIM and ProXH) connect. I am able to have the AXIM recognize the trimble unit however they will not connect when I attempt in GPS controller

have you had any luck?
