Hiacom 303MMF ->SiRF mode.
I have a 303MMF that I have been having fun with the last couple of days but have not been able to switch it to SiRF mode.

Does anyone know how to switch it? I have tried using GPSTweak, Navman on my computer.

I would like to do this to find out the flash version number and use utilites that use SiRF mode to quicken GPS functions.

Try to use Win Fast Navigator to swtich to SiRF from NMEA.

Download and install WinFast Navigator from:
ftp://ftp.winfast.com.tw/gps/Tools/W...PS-Install.zip

Then, unzip the file but you only need to move/copy "Navigator.ARM.CAB" to your PDA. This file is located in "WinFast Navigator CE" folder.

Once you have copied this cab file to your PDA, just use File Explorer to locate it and click on it to launch the installtion program.

Click on "Tools" | "Port Settings..." | Connect with the following parameter:
GPS Portocol=NMEA (factory default)
Port = COM5 (for dell axim)
BaudRate=4800 (factory default)

and click "OK".

Once connected, click "Tools" | "Command" | "SiRF" tab and hit "OK" to switch the CF unit to SiRF. Good luck.
