I am thinking of purchasing a BC-337 for my X50V. I plan on using iGV3 when it is released. I like the fact that both hardware and software can be used with my PDA and laptop. Does anyone have good or bad experence with the 337????

Since you're running X50v w/WM2003SE, this should not be any issues. But if you intend to use it with WM5 devices later, just check to make sure that there are no reports of incompatibility of the BC-337 CF GPS card with WM5 devices.

Yes just got it a couple weeks ago, works flawlessly. I use it with iguidance it auto detects it too.

My Axim is the X5 BTW

I've been using this combo since March 2006 and love it. I use it with IGV2.1.3, but will update when I can. I installed IG on a 2 gb SD card and I back up various map combo's on my laptop for easy transfer back and forth. Only problem I ever had was when I set out on a short trip, and forgot to insert the GPS and was wondering why I wasn't getting a signal. Bought mine as a combo from Semsons along with an Arkon window mount. All work great. One unasked point for the Arkon is that it will charge your X50v while operating. Another travel charger I tried did not; not high enough amps I guess.

I had also tried out the demo version of Mapopolis and this worked good with this hardware combo as well, just liked the IG version a little better and the new Vers 3 looks great.
