How is one to determine when the problem is software related, when it is hardware related and when it is map data related? In order for this thread to be meaningful, it would have to be restricted to "using THIS receiver, with THIS particular device, with THIS other software installed and THIS SD/CF card with THIS ROM release, I had THESE issues with THIS software." Otherwise the thread will have misleading data.
For example, if I have a Dell X5, and if I have the older ROM and if I have installed the audio "fix" from a couple of years ago, and if I'm using iGuidance or any of the variants (Routis, Arkon, Dell, etc) then I will have a problem with voice prompts not playing properly. But the problem is not with iGuidance, it's with the Dell Audio fix.
