I read in a thread somewhere on this site that you can download a POI for TTN2, which has a list of speed cameras around the UK.

I also read that there was an app that would link into TTN2 that would notify you by voice when you were approaching one.

Could anybody point me in the right direction, or was I just dreaming this

Hi, have a look at the tom tom web site, they have a list of POIs that you can download, lots of good stuff i reckon this is what makes TT excellant for europe etc, i think our axim brothers and sisters will come to agree that it is an excellent product when it gets a full release into the US.

The site you need is Pocketgps.co.uk. this has the Speed Camera Database (which is here http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/tomtompoi.asp)

You will also find links there to various warning programs, but the best is Checkpoint http://checkpoint.oabsoftware.nl/ as it's free
