So many GPS, which one to choose!

Just kidding.

I'm buying iGuidance v3 with i-blue receiver. I'll let y'all know when I get it (like you care) and how sweet it is!

I got a Garmin iQue 3600 (appreciation gift from work).
Since it is a Palm based PDA with GPS, I looked into selling it and getting enought money to have a BT GPS with car charger,.., for use with my Axim. But, in looking into this (and someone else at work is trying to sell theirs on eBay and they are below $200) I decided I wouldn't be able to sell it to get enough money to get something BT for my Axim, so I kept it.
It is pretty good (I'm slowly learning to use it), and the nice thing is my wife can take it without having to take my Axim (Best Feature).

Hi foeggy!

Think you'll love it.

I have X51v / iBlue GPS / iGuidance v2.1.3 / Seidio G4500S.

Am going to upgrade to v3 in July; was very happy with v2.1.3 but the new version looks great.

Good luck,
Paul

Was doing a little more research on the i-blue PS3200 and was reading that it is not SIRF III and frequently loses 3d fixation... What implications does this have on me? :rolling:

Good morning foeggy,

The iBlue is based on the Nemerix chipset not the SIRF III.

Before purchasing mine, I read this excellent review by JakeRich:

http://www.aximsite.com/articles/link.php?id=319

What really impressed me is the Battery life and sleep mode. I'm also impressed by the sensitivity that is almost? as good as the SIRF III units (seems like a small trade-off to me).....have never lost a signal except on the lower level of the GW Bridge but then the signal came right back.

Good luck with your search,
Paul

Well, I ordered iGuidance v3 w/the i-Blue receiver yesterday from buyGPSNow. They shipped it out same day, so I suppose I should be receiving it Friday with the two day shipping. Very impressed with that as I am going out of town on July 5 and was hoping to have it by then; now, I should (barring an exception from FedEx).

Yeehaw! :approve:
