While most of us have received good and satisfactory service from buygpsnow, there are obviously a few who think otherwise.

I think it is just an matter of difference of opinion. Dynamo is entitled to his own opinion, but I think buygpsnow's track records speak for themselves.

For what it's worth, I have to agree that the Arkon vent mount's ratchet function is really quite weak and doesn't hold the device in the chosen attitude very well.

However, unless you have a compulsion for changing the orientation of your PDA all the time while you're driving, an application of superglue on the rotator bushing while you've got the mount positioned the way that you want it takes care of that problem nicely. No fuss, no drama.
